AI for business data

Ask in your own words

Use the AI assistant to ask about your data. The semantic layer provides shared metric definitions that further analysis can build on.

Find knowledge in context

Hybrid search combines keywords with semantic similarity, making documents useful even when their wording differs from the question.

Choose your AI

Connect a supported model provider or a model you operate yourself. Choose the self-hosted connection to keep conversations inside your network.

Put it to work

From financial reporting to internal knowledge search

Finance investigates metric variances. Sales explores customer and revenue data. Business teams search documents for information relevant to their work. The shared platform connects these workflows with SQL and existing BI tools.

Your questions, answered

Which business data can I use?

lavalake connects databases, files, documents and MCP sources. The integration documentation describes the available connectors and supported formats.

Can AI run entirely inside our network?

Yes, using a self-hosted model through the supported connection and a local search configuration. With an external model provider, content used in the chat is sent to that provider. Choose the model that fits your deployment.

Do business users need SQL skills?

Using the assistant and search does not require writing SQL. Analysts can work with SQL alongside them and provide shared metrics for the team.
