Data warehouse on your infrastructure

Put infrastructure to work

Run the data platform on your own hardware and S3-compatible storage. You decide on location, capacity and how to expand your environment.

An open foundation

Apache Iceberg organizes tables and Trino provides SQL. Data is stored in open table formats that compatible tools can continue to use.

Plan platform costs

The lavalake license follows a capacity tier. Compare hardware, power and operations with your current cloud bill in the TCO calculator.

Put it to work

For businesses shaping their own data platform

You operate a data center, want to use existing capacity or need your data platform inside your network. lavalake connects these requirements with a shared environment for analysts, business teams and agents.

Turn your infrastructure into a data platform

  1. Choose a starting point

Look at data sources, analysis tasks and available capacity together.

  2. Build one use case

Connect representative data, model metrics and configure access.

  3. Expand with purpose

Evaluate queries and operations on your own data, then take on additional workloads.

Your questions, answered

Is lavalake a data warehouse or a lakehouse?

lavalake provides warehouse capabilities such as SQL, metrics and dashboards on a lakehouse built with Apache Iceberg and S3-compatible storage. It combines structured analytics with an open storage foundation.

What hardware do I need?

It depends on data volume, concurrent queries and workload. The sizing documentation provides a starting point; we use a representative use case on your infrastructure to help select a capacity tier.

How do I compare costs with the cloud?

The TCO calculator compares hardware, power, operations and licensing with a monthly cloud bill. Adjust its assumptions for your situation and add one-time migration costs to your project plan.
