Every tier includes the complete platform: lakehouse, AI assistant, MCP server, search and governance. Tiers differ in the number of users and in support. Budget separately for external AI providers or your own models.
Your data can grow while your price stays put. It depends on active users alone – data volume, queries and server capacity play no part in the license.

All prices net, excluding VAT. Every person who worked with data from lavalake in the last 30 days counts as active – directly or through connected tools such as Power BI or Tableau. People who only view dashboards and reports count as readers at 25 per cent: every 4 readers count as one user. If your team outgrows its tier, everything keeps running – we adjust the tier together.

Questions about pricing
Do I need my own data center or admin team?
No. lavalake can also run on rented servers or cloud infrastructure of your choice. An IT service provider you appoint can handle setup, updates and backups. Hosting and operational services are arranged and budgeted separately from the platform license.
What determines the license price?
The platform license follows the number of active users in the last 30 days, and the support level. Limits: Team 10, Growth 25, Business 100; Enterprise and Sovereign are unlimited. Users who only view dashboards and reports – in lavalake or through Power BI or Tableau – count as readers at 25 per cent. Servers, vCPU and stored data volume are not billed.
What should I budget in addition to the license?
Budget hardware or infrastructure, power, operations and any external AI model usage separately. The TCO calculator helps you estimate recurring platform costs.
How do I choose a tier?
Start with how many people will work with the platform regularly. For the hardware, we look at data volume, concurrent queries and workloads in a representative use case.
